Jiew is a modest girl who works at a restaurant washing dishes and is in love with Artit, the chef. She huddles in a cramped little room, doesn’t sleep at night, and is always late for work. But she has a big secret: she sees ghosts. And Khaopun, a virgin ghost who doesn’t understand why her soul can’t go to heaven, doesn’t leave Jiew alone. Khaopun is sure that only losing her virginity will help her to ascend to heaven, and therefore she uses Jiew’s body to seduce Artit and achieve what she wants.

I think the Thai version stuck with the same plot, script, and pace. In both versions, 8 eps were spent on setting the foreground – this could have been cut down to 5 or 6 eps. The mystery aspect was more interesting, plus the development of the love story could have been shown after the ghost left the FC’s body – that couls have seemed more convincing and more fan service, LOL. Plus, they didn’t need to rush the final episode given that they had a 2-year timeskip.
Korea has always been better in terms of production details, and they obvsiously have more experience in creating dramas.
In the Thai version, the visuals were good.
I think the locations – especially the restaurant and Sun’s room and balcony – looked more fresh and cozy. I especially liked that the hospice scene with Nam and Parin was shot in a garden, not in a cramped room like in the Korean version – it sets the mood for a fresh start.
The Thai actors looked great too. Chemistry was there, I just felt that they paled in comparison to the koreans. For example, the activities in a restaurant setting should have been more fluid, but the actors have mistaken shouting to show energy, LOL.
And if I’ll be too picky, Noona’s supposedly adorable puppy-like smile looked forced. She could have done better, because that was the reason why people get attracted to her. But to be fair, acting 2 characters was not easy.
